You’re coming from east coast, we LOVED PR. The courtyard isla verde was an amazing property for the value. The pool and beach access was really nice, i would say the property was more on par with a Westin!

What are your Budget? And your location? Suggest Hawaii for people living in eastern coasts usually make no sense.

I would suggest Caribbean islands. If you can get the business class in Hawaii airlines direct flight to HNL, that would be fantastic! Otherwise 11-12 hours economy to Hawaii is a torture to both adults and kids.
Destin Florida is my fave beach city in the US! Food isn't as great as Hawaii and you don't get the same mix of beach/volcano/hiking/etc. that Hawaii offers, but the water is beautiful and the sand is like sugar. My family also did a cruise through cayman islands. The water and beaches were pretty spectacular as well plus did some great excursions like hanging with manta rays.
I stayed with my sister at her house haha. Her husband is stationed at the nearby air force base. She owns a vacation rental on Okaloosa Island that seems to do quite well though. The condo has multiple pools and a lazy river and is right off the beach. I'm not sure the name though but you can check that area for lodging. Also, it's worth it to do the course for a boat license so you can drive one around. If you get one, crab Island is a great place to anchor. There's small boats selling ice cream, big floating slides, etc.
Atlantis in Bahamas was a blast for adults and young kids
Where do you travel from? Do you have some budget to consider? 4 adults and 3 kids can be costly, depends on where you go. I love all of them, but personally won't bring kids to Hawaii since I live in the east coast- long travel time and Hawaii is not a cheap location to consider, especially with the rental car shortage currently.
