Anybody have experience working both with inhouse and offshore departments?

My workplace offshores nearly everything, (design, editing, copywriting, 3D rendering etc.) There's one obvious perk to it which I understand but, there's sometimes where I have to go around in circles with them just to get something right. Curious to know if any of the experiences are similar with companies that do in house?

Has anybody experience in giving up the LPR status after leaving the US for work and residency in another country/homecountry? I come from a low tax country and wonder whether Uncle Sam will send a final tax bill or penalty fee or even make it difficult/impossible for me to abandon the GC once I will leave the US again. This is crucial for me to apply for the GC.

Moving from AM to AD at another agency. Any words of advice?

Throughout my career, I have worked at both “traditional” and “digital” shops. My current agency would fall under traditional but also offers digital services. Our process, roles and skillsets seem way outdated but I wasn’t sure if it was just my opinion or if this is just how it works. For example, we have no CTO or tech leads. Our digital producers feel more like project managers than actual producers. Account Management is just traditional, no real digital knowledge. Feels layered and dated.
