Coming to the US after summer as I got my visa approved. However im seeing a lot of people commenting they got laid off. Is it risky for me to change countries right now and get a job I might lose in 3-4 months? Or it's not that bad overall?

Currently at Meta (working as a Program Manager) and considering accepting a role with Disney Streaming to support the scaling of Disney+. My dream however is to eventually work at Google. Would my application be considered more interesting coming straight from Meta or would diversified experience with Meta and Disney+ be better? Would love to hear perspectives on this! Thanks.

I am only 4 months into being a surgical coordinator. I love the position itself however I am struggling to adapt into my new work environment. My position puts me in a place where I need to interact with my new coworkers but they are not as welcoming as I expected. There is also another surgical coordinator however I have come to find from other staff that there is a long history of her running other staff away and not fully training other surgical coordinator staff properly. I work for a tech company that pays 100k tc plus 50,000 stock options. I have great work life balance, work 4 days per week on a 32 hour schedule plus it’s remote. Lately, I’ve been feeling like the compensation is on the lower end and just wanted to see if it’s in line with industry standards
