Hello everyone! I recently pivoted from working in advertising to working at an early-stage fintech startup. I'm looking to speak with business finance leaders who manage corporate cash and credit lines for their companies to learn more about your tools and your approach to cash management. I'll buy you lunch/coffee for your time.
If interested shoot me an email me at kathryn@crescent.app! And thank you!!

Getting hardcore ghosted
You’re definitely not alone
Idk why anyone bothers applying there anymore. Even when recruiting contacts you it’s only for free work.
Here’s how I got into the interview process for DoorDash last year,
1. Figure out who the hiring manager to a role is. Usually you usually figure this out based on what verticals they are in. The teams in each vertical are pretty small so it’s pretty easy to find the hiring manager or their boss.
2. Send them a message introducing yourself and asking to set up a call to learn more about the role. if you prefer to send email, their email format (based on the folks I connected with) is firstname.lastname@doordash.com
3. In my experience, they usually respond and during the call- I was able to sell myself and was immediately included in the recruiting process.
That being said, except you are laid off and desperate- pls do not look at DoorDash. The stressful take home assignments and interviews coupled with the below market pay made it a very disappointing experience. The recruiter also tried to gaslight me by telling me that consultants usually have to take a pay cut to leave consulting. I think the recruiter also shared that they don’t have bonuses for S&O roles. So move forward at your own risk.
Great insight. Thanks D1
