I’m looking to transition to a new role with more responsibilities and higher pay of course. I’ve been having a lot of trouble recently, and frankly it’s made me feel very down. I haven’t been able to get past initial recruiter screenings or first round interviews. I have almost 2.5 yoe as a BA and PM as well as a mba but I just can’t get a new role. If you have to pay back a sign on bonus do you get back the withholding on it when you file your tax returns? For instance if the sign on bonus is 10k, there si withholding on that. So you actually receive 6k (assumption). But if you leave the company you pay back 10k no? How do you get the 4k back?
