I was recently approached by a recruiter about a position as a litigation attorney at the DOJ. Unfortunately, he didn’t have any more specific information other than what I would be doing is “generally commercial litigation.” Can anyone share insights on what this may entail? The contract was two sentences that said I would work for X years. That’s it. I cannot find any information online about what happens if you hate your new job so much that you quit. Anyone?

How do I determine the likelihood of getting a Top Secret Security clearance? I am qualified for a number of federal jobs but haven’t applied because of an allegation of misconduct at my job five years ago. I have plenty of positive equities since then and evidence of rehabilitation for admission to the bar. I just have no idea how much forgiveness is possible in a TS security clearance.
