Anyone else dread the fun fact section of a session, or is it just me? I need better hobbies lol

I just blatantly lie. Been working well for years

funny

I try out all my lies with first with my hair cutter. Assuming she doesn’t poke holes, I then use it at work. Recent simple examples are (the more elaborate ones will dox me, so I’m not sharing) :

- Baking
- Indoor rock climbing
- Paint balling
- Top golf
- Running / Biking

In reality I just read a lot of books and play video games and home improvement projects

Nope. I have many interests and anecdotes. I'm an introvert so this is a prescribed time to shine.

uplifting

Fair fair! And yeah I agree that’s purely my issue. On the one hand, it’s great that the professional company I keep is pretty cool but on the other hand, I need to get over myself and not compare my fun with their fun.

I have no hobbies but plenty of fun facts. I think you’re thinking too narrowly.. somewhere fun you’ve vacationed, something you DIYed at home, really weird food you like etc.

All good ideas. I might just be surrounded by people who’re too cool and do things that are too cool haha

Same, you’re not alone!

Solidarity 🙌

Oh you definitely are not alone in this. I dread it as well because I literally can never think of something to share.

Right! Can we just get a different ice breaker please

I feel your pain - first few years out of college I just mentioned my college sport, but since I’ve been working 75 hour weeks I haven’t developed a hobby other than going to the gym and watching tv

Exactly. Any coolness quotient I had has eroded over the years. And my drinking chops don’t count 😂

other sql assessment
In case study it is mentioned to

assessment nothing is mentioned
Anyone have idea for it's timelines

Also it would be really helpful if any

this assessment.

I've a question on what sections to put on a regular resume. I see some people are using consulting style resume for outside companies as well. Do you think it's a good idea to devide work experience by projets? Or is it better to have "projects highlights" separate from work experience.. something like: intro>functional expertise> project highlights>work experience>education?
