No. That would be a weird correlation. That thing "..." is called ellipsis and has place in English punctuations. Not very widely used but does a good job of stating things such as " so on and so forth", "you know the rest", "on a different note" etc. when used properly. May not be as apt for formal communications but in quick Teams messages, it can sit quite well.

Disagree - no issue with me. But those people that don't use oxford commas...

Eh, Oxford commas are overrated. They are a crutch for unclear sentence construction to rest upon. Well structured sentences have no need to be made more choppy with surplus commas.
Or just write “hi” and then don’t say anything else / tell you what they want until you respond

Nah, the worst people write something mean and add a smiley face so you know they don't hate you but hate-hate you 😂
They’re not the worst, they’re just 15 years older than you…
Ouch, wasn't planning on being attacked today :(
It’s called the “boomer ellipses”. It doesn’t mean anything about the person other than the fact that they’re old.
Think of it as a line break like the one I just put above to separate ideas and the “…” stops seeming so passive aggressive…they often use it in a way that’s outdated and grammatically incorrect but it’s a holdover from the days of handwriting letters where the writer needed to conserve space.
I first fell in love with ellipses reading Tender Is The Night…
If it’s good enough for F. Scott Fitzgerald, it’s good enough for Teams…
You sound very…West Egg…
👀 I sometimes use this sign when I don’t feel super sure or confident…so am I the worst…
OK next time I will try to gaslight you if you will better in that way😇
