Anyone else here bracing for mass exits in the new year once folks realize they have to wait till July or later for their overdue promotion and/or salary raises? Disappointed we have’t had more townhall updates from 360i leadership alongside setting expectations for 2021 promotion timings (when based on merit, if that is a thing anymore). Also concerned we’ll have a serious retention problem over the next six months.

I just left a dentsu company because it got so demoralizing having to tell my team over and over again that I have no news on their promotions, raises etc that are so long over due. They were miserable but so was I and there was absolutely nothing I could do to fix it other than getting in the weeds and making myself more miserable to relieve them a little bit. I truly feel for those who are unemployed right now but I also feel like working yourself to the bone at a reduced salary and then being told to be thankful you have a job like the poster above me said is gaslighty.

That’s what was said at a DAN meeting over the summer or in the fall. Next merit / promo cycle would be in July. Might get more info today they’d said there would be Q&A in the town hall.

I feel like people will want to leave their jobs but I think it remains to be seen how many opportunities will open up in the new year. I’m in a smaller market but no one seems to know

Oh yeah. 3 people have already left our creative team and everyone who's still here are all looking for new jobs. My agency is going to be absolutely ravaged if 3 more people leave in close proximity to one another.

October here for us... a full 2 years without a raise because of COVID.

Salary freeze here, with no end in sight. Meanwhile we’re hiring in other departments.

Has an offer to join a smaller but growing firm. Will get a decent raise, but I'm concerned about the lack of delivery capability. Seems like the expectation is they want you to be able to do it all, and they brand and technical breadth is not as established. Looks to me its high risk and the reward is just the raise they offer.
