Anyone else worried AI is going to steal their consulting job? I deal with clients constantly, but I'm not learning enough hard skills, in my opinion. What are you guys doing to future-proof your careers?

No.
‘Hard skills’ are more easily replaceable by AI, it’s the soft skills that are still needed to make change at clients that it can’t replicate. You’ll be fine

I wouldn't worry about that too much, most of what's being said about AI is hype. At some point people are going to want answers from human beings, not something robotic that could be entirely nonsensical. I worry more about the human competition, not the competition from machines.

No I am a consulting god who will never be replaced.

Hi! I have worked in management roles in tech, mainly in analytics, for approximately 10 years. My TC has fluctuated (currently around 135K CAD), but it seems like it's relatively easy to breach the 100K bar, but hard to breach the 150K bar. I now work at the CBC, but I have worked in the private sector too. What is the most realistic way to move to 200K? 1) Continue moving the ladder to a VP position, 2) Switch to Pre-Sale, 3) Switch to Consulting, 4) Work from a U.S. company from Canada.

Cavatappi in Roasted Red Pepper Cream Sauce

Tired of of the same old boring tomato marinara sauce? Try a roasted red pepper cream sauce!

Red bell peppers are roasted in the oven until sweet. It is then blended with caramelized onions, garlic, red pepper flakes, sun dried tomato paste, and cream into a silky, smooth and velvety sauce. Finish the sauce with a knob of butter and coat your pasta. Cavatappi works well here. Don’t forget to shave a little Pecorino Romano

Thoughts? This seems decent based on my research but couldn't find a ton of data points. What is the career trajectory/opportunity like is a Google CE? Opportunities to move to product later on or will I be heavily soloed within tech? How do refreshers work? For example at other tech companies I've heard only about 10% of a team might receive refreshers each year
