Captive vs Product based?
Is HARMAN really recruiting for permanent remote roles? Would they ask us to come to office after sometime? I am a bachelor woman supporting my sickly parents and can't move them out of city. And my city don't have harman office. HR did mention permanent remote, still want to confirm as I've heard many cases people were called back across different product based companies. Antarctica is so worth it if you can go. I went with One Ocean a couple years before they ran into all their issues and I don’t think any travel experience can top that, other than maybe a trip back there and hitting South Georgia as well.
I went on the SE Alaska one as part of a multi-generational family trip. It was a great experience. They have multiple really knowledge naturalists on board who lead talks/expeditions and are available for any question you have. Also fantastic from a logistics point of view (meal times, activities, etc) and the smaller ship was really enjoyable. How much you value the experience will likely depend on how interested you are in nature.

Ugh I want to go to Antarctica so badly but even “low end” trips start at like $8K
Same. The one I was looking at is 16k per person 🤦🏽♀️
Also, not sure how things are now with covid but in the past, if your timing was flexible, you could wait in Ushuaia and get on last minute for cheap if a boat still had space.
