I’m taking a sip of my beer for every petty duh in this conversation - including that one. Duh
Well yes duh. But they asked what people’s experiences were, and those were mine. DUH.
Holy hell if you’re not going to be helpful then get back to your game of Fortnite and continue wiping the cheese doodle crumbs on your underwear
If it’s a closed set on private property - No permit needed. Just be careful with number of vehicles and such parked near by
Obviously you need a permit to shoot pretty much anywhere. At least my reply stated an experience. I never claimed fact. Perhaps OP is conducting a similar operation, who knows ? Any non idiotic producer knows you need a permit. The question is do you REALLY need a permit. And without context, the answer is up in the air. Being a producer is about evaluating all possible outcomes from all possible scenarios you can think. Replying with an all caps cry for attention just tells me you’re a child. Good luck.
I did a very small shoot. A few crew, one camera (a red epic but not a huge build), Dana dolly, probably 5 crew and one talent. We were able to steal a couple shots on the strip, get the sign, etc. I wouldn’t put the money of a whole shoot on it - but just letting you know my minimal experience.
And that we weren’t immediately stormed by police or casino security
YOU. NEED. A. PERMIT. DUH!
Did I mention, DUH?
^ RE-READ THE POST. DUH!!! It was a question.
