May I know what is the notice period if one resigns in infy during the first 6 months of joining? I am a lateral resource and they hired me in June, but they have no projects related to my tech and want me to take weird roles.. seems they are hiring to increase employee count and cross training most. just looking for options..

A recruiter reached out to me last week regarding temp work. Not interested so can pass the recruiters information if anyone is interested. It was related to fraud work
Just did
Curious to why you didn’t reach out to EY’s own forensics team? I believe PwC and EY does the same type of forensics work?
Forensics at EY is hit and miss. Sometimes I do interesting things, like investigations or contract disputes, but there’s a ton of FEMA work right now. Not what I wanna do so was curious what forensics at at PWC looks like
I’ve often tried to get additional information about the forensic practices at PwC and it seems to either be something unknown to everyone or behind a lot of gate keeping. As someone who already works at PwC, got into accounting for forensic accounting, and have made it known to everyone involved where my interests are for the sake of career advancement, no one seems to really care about that. Attention always seems to be on placing whatever new hires are coming in and not really addressing current staffing issues and requests. It’s sad that I actually enjoy working at PwC but will eventually have to move on elsewhere due to inability to grow in a direction I’m interested in instead of just where there current need is at that moment.
Interesting take. Have you actually spoken to anyone in the practice? We just pulled in 8+ people into the practice internally.
Also what level are you? Feel free to dm me.
