Anyone have insight into the recruiting process for Thumbtack? Strategy & Ops Manager role - trying to get a better understanding of the interview structures

I've done so well in this new role within the company that they are hiring another person to assist with what I do. I've voiced to my boss that I'd like to manage this department and they indicated that this is the thought for the future. Now they are asking me to train this person while I have my plate full. Is it wrong for me to expect either a promotion or to be paid to train this person?

I’ve had multiple interviews during the pandemic and have been honest about having a kindergartener at home and how we had to manage school at home. It was hard...and still is. And I feel like that has really hurt my chances at employment. Today CPS has announced school will be all remote this year—I feel really discouraged. Would it be wrong to just not mention my kids? I ordered a Tesla model 3 SR in April and I am able to take delivery this weekend, however I’m now unsure of whether it’s the right move financially. I have a lease on a 2020 BMW X3 that will end next month and was wondering if I should just buy that out and drive it for a few years. If it makes a difference I’m in SoCal so gas is $$$, but no EV charging in my apartment.

BMW: $600/m + $150 gas + maint/insurance

I'm struggling to lose the ten pounds I need to fit into my clothes and feel good about my body. I'm 5'5 and 145. Ive put on around 7-8 pounds since October. I'm recovered from an eating disorder (6 years now) and have completely stopped drinking alcohol (since December) as I was definitely using that to cope, and I feel good about that. I'm proud of not drinking and not using alcohol but I struggle with chowing on chocolate/ carbs as a result. I excercise at least 4x week running (cont'd)

At times, having a wife with Borderline Personality Disorder sucks more than people can imagine. All the gaslighting, claims of hurt, screaming and false accusations based on imagined threats make me want to scream back “you have the mental illness, not me.” But the good and fun times can be extremely good and fun. waiting for another comparable offer to negotiate, looking for suggestions on what is the right negotiation number.

Current consultant (boutique) with offers at a large ride sharing company (starts with a U) for Strategy/BizOps and a public company in their data consulting division.
