New labour code was supposed to be effective from oct 1, though this date might get pushed by 3 or 6 months. One major change in code was to have 50% basic of overall ctc. This will increase the pf contri and decrease the take home pay.
Most probably, salary structure will be changed in D in the dec cycle stated by Joe U. Actual salary may or may not increase for everyone, lets see 🤔

I work as a quant/associate at a large (>300 billion aum) long only mutual fund. Ive been here for about a year, but seeing how crazy the job market is, I’m wondering if I should put feelers out again. I like my coworkers and I work good hours. I get 110k as base, and got a 10k sign-on bonus. They said min bonus is 15k, but I’m not sure what the range is as I haven’t been around for a bonus cycle. This in a HCOL city. I also get 30% match in my retirement accounts. I have ~2 YOE. Thoughts?
