All of my experience is in supply chain (inventory management). I am looking into pivoting into project management. I have zero experience. What types of roles should I be looking for? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

How is the Business Operations (BO) team at ZS?
Particularly at AC level.

1. WLB as I have heard is pretty pathetic at ZS. Is it same in BO team as well?

There’s no reason you have to put up with a job you hate. I spent many years working in a toxic environment with a boss who gossiped and lead through fear. He wasn’t really much of a leader but basically a foreman. And he could make my existence miserable. I admit that it wasn’t easy to find another job but the bottom line is: trust your guts. If you feel something is wrong it’s because it probably is. Don’t second guess yourself. Look for options and and fight for your mental health.

What is the average salary for a project manager at a social media agency? NYC-based with 5 years experience.

A director in another unit wants to meet me to “continue a conversation we started last year”. He is referring to the time I had asked him if there were openings on his team. Why are town Hall meetings so impersonal? They are all about awards / the number of people hired. I know FCB health is large, but we never hear from people who aren’t Executives. Last town hall, when discussing inclusion efforts, there were no people of color represented and one of the 4 pillars of diversity was centered around our “reputation as an organization” (that really rubbed me the wrong way). At my last agency those conversations were always led by people of color from every level.
