Looking for some honest advice. Considering an offer with SocGen B’lore for Specialist Software Engineer position with 5.5 years exp and into Tech service management. Could you please tell me a bit about following points?
- 25% of the compensation(5Lakhs) is Variable. Does company even pay 60% of it at the end of the year if you perform say 4/5 rating?

I've heard horror stories about WLB at S&.
I don't think you should assume that WLB is better at T2s than MBB. I'd actually expect it to be worse. Less support, not as far down the experience curve, having to work extra hard to compete against the MBB brand name etc.

It’s pretty good, although varies by team. That’s the answer for every consulting firm.
Any teams in particular to be mindful of?
Speaking for Monitor depends a bit on the country but can assure its a good practice. Well recognized in some niches (es Life Sciences) and overall a good WLB. Culture is nice at EU level and there is not really the competition stress for promotions as we are growing. Pay is quite higher than the rest of D but not at MBB level.
