Why are town Hall meetings so impersonal? They are all about awards / the number of people hired. I know FCB health is large, but we never hear from people who aren’t Executives. Last town hall, when discussing inclusion efforts, there were no people of color represented and one of the 4 pillars of diversity was centered around our “reputation as an organization” (that really rubbed me the wrong way). At my last agency those conversations were always led by people of color from every level.

Hello, I have accepted an offer at a competitor company and sent in my resignation letter. My start date is 5 weeks from now so I put in my end date 4 weeks from date letter was signed. The manager said I had to leave the job in 2 days and the company can only play 2 weeks of work. Is it normal how they do that?

Parents are deciding between moving to WVirginia vs Virginia at retirement to be closer to us based in fairfax (ideally be at 1 hour driving distance). They currently in the mid west but WVirginia appeals to them because of low taxes, low cost of living. We are also poc so appreciate some diversity.

Today I received my provisional full and final settlement and the payable amount is negative -11454. They are recovering the full AMPB amount which I got from September months.

Lateraled into banking and I'm getting killed. My aso will mention to do stuff as he's walking out, says do this this and this and by the time I process what he said he's out the door then I miss something he's like I told you to do it. As of late, my work related anxiety has reached new levels and it’s really starting to affect me mentally. I’m part of a great team; I’m trusted and supported, have a great track record, there are no issues, and have been no incidents. Regardless, my professional self perception and confidence is so rattled as of late, it’s almost like a paralysis at times.
