I use EPIC at work everyday and I am interested in working as an EPIC analyst. I have applied at my facility numerous times for these positions with no luck. I have my annual review coming up and want to hear thoughts on what a reasonable raise expectation is. Considering exit opps in private equity for tax manager roles. With the market as it is what kind of range would you expect? PA pay is through the roof right now (based on recruiters and friends in other firms 160-170) so I'm not sure how that should compare to industry.

I’m a 9th year in a mostly litigation-based practice group at a one-tier partnership firm. My group’s billable hours have been low the last few years, so making partner will be nearly impossible, and a counsel position is not viable long-term in my group. What’s the best option here if partnership is the ultimate goal? Try to get a NEP/counsel position at another firm, which is likely difficult in my market, or offer to take a class cut by a few years?
