Hi
I have a current CTC of 6.6 and Mastercard is offering 8.9 (including variable ) . I also have an offer from infosys of 10 ( including variable). Which one should I pick considering work life balance and appraisal.My entire doubt is that will they bring me on market rate after appraisals as currently they are not offering very good hike.

DC is a very easy place to make friends in my opinion! Go to one house party and everyone you meet will invite you to all their subsequent house parties — it only snowballs from there!
Tons of green space and hiking in the area, very active city, great night life, etc. It has something for everyone!
@C1 don’t forget me ! Lol
Echoing what SC1 said, there's a lot of people in the same boat who come in and out of the city so you're not alone in that. In fact, it may help since others are looking for friends too.
If you do come, feel free to hmu! 24M for perspective with a good circle of friends. I went to college in DC but most of my friends now I've made over the last year and a half from different social circles and parties.
DC is a very transient city so half the people you meet are from out of town anyway. I think it’s easy to make friends - just as easy as anywhere else. Just gotta put in the work. With it being a major city there’s constantly new things and big events going on every single weekend.
Was it hard to make new friends? Is there a lot of green space/nature for hiking? Is it dog friendly? About me: single 25M, active, enjoy the night life and outdoors. I’d be doing commercial work at ACN.
