Not sure what you mean by entrepreneur, but hubby owns his own business. He is not last minute about anything. It may be personality more than occupation.
Many of my friends are business owners, including myself. They and I are not like that at all.

Def sounds like a personal thing with your partner, not their career choice.
Entrepreneurship requires discipline, time management, agendas, etc. just like any other job. However, it is MUCH easier to not do any of that because, well, as an entrepreneur, you get to make the rules.
I've been using ChatGPT to help me in discussions with my husband. I lay the facts out and I include our demographics but I don't say which of us is on which side. Then I ask if it can help me understand both points of view and how each might handle communicating to the other. We've definitely had some very productive conversations lately
Mine was and his business failed so that's how we're doing.

I’m also a solo and my husband is also a partner in a RE company and travels. Nothing is really “last minute”. He has some office days, some travel days and some WFH days. I have an intense court schedule and yeah sometimes things come up but we mainly have 9-5 schedules, pick up kids from school, do nighttime routine, etc. I do think this is more a trait than being an entrepreneur.
