I have an offer in PE VP role in Citco and JPM and I am at cross road on which is one to company to choose. Their pay is very similar but JPM is offering an attractive signing on bonus. I need a honest advise on which is better between these two firms.

Just got offered a job at a small biotech in London (UK). ~£45k plus bonus but only 1YR FTC and no equity.

Pretty sure it's a discovery role too.

I just finished my PhD at a very good uni with 3 years technician experience before that. BSc and MSc also at very good unis with good grades.

I think this offer is well below par, but curious to hear what you guys think/if you have any comparisons?

I’ve been in HR for 8 years… started as a coordinator … moved into org development and have been an HRBP for the last 4 years ish. I’ve been in a new hrbp role for 6 months supporting a new client. Anyways… this is the first time I’ve ever been unhappy at work and I can’t tell if it’s the client (they have a tendency to jump to conclusions and publicly share their opinion), increased scope, or if I dislike the role. Has anyone just been with the client that didn’t fit? Did you change roles?

For context, the leadership team is made up of 12 men (all white), and two white females. So, yeah, not sure how to address this.

I got a Tier 2 Rating, Bonus of 11% which is Pro Rated since I joined in Aug end last year. My hike is just 5%. My RL told me that hikes are not related to your tier rating but based on market analysis PwC does of your salary as compared to peers in other companies. 5% is disappointing, anybody having similar experience with hikes?

My previous company gave me a brand new samsung phone which costs 16k for office use, 16 months later i have resigned and i said that i lost that office mobile on my last working day and they have deducted only 4k from FNF.. And im still using that phone hahahaha

I currently earn approx 12 L per annum ( fixed + bonus) in India. Do you think it's a good offer. Also my expectations were 6k SGD or more per month. Just got let go and my manager said part of it was because I was looking for other jobs. I didn't look for other jobs at work, so I'm not sure how they could have known that unless a coworker snitched on me. Is it worth it to try and find out who or should I just leave it? Included a temp job on my resume, just didn’t specify the staffing agency on it. Was asked for additional documentation during background check and easily provided a W2 and paystub indicating the agency as well as the company I was actually doing the work for. Is this a ding or just a simple oversight. Wasn’t an issue for my BCG background check.
