Anyone willing to share some best resources (books, podcasts, etc) for imposture syndrome? For awareness, I am a white women in HR. Always struggled with confidence but experienced some brutal/toxic management with my HR role with a bad business partner (now in a new role), and I am continuing to struggle with my confidence. Appreciate resources that are “self-help”. Also considering a therapist but hoping to also own the process myself for quicker “recovery”. TIA!
Want to improve my verbal and written communication skills. I hear reading more would help but I don’t read as much as I used to. So I’m wondering what books would help with that? I'm considering pivoting to copywriting because that's the part of my role I'm best at -- a lot of the account management stuff is draining, but I can whip out social and marketing copy quickly & I enjoy it. Wondering if anyone has insight / leads on making the jump from accounts to the copy side when applying for jobs? 5 YOE, 3 in-agency with a mix of automotive and pharma + a side gig as a published author with muliple books (hoping that'll help on the creative / copy end?) Thank you!
Anyone have any book recommendations on Islamic history?

I have a speech impediment and can't do presentations very well; my employees think this counts as preferential treatment. I would LOVE to be rid of this but it's an actual disability and I don't think anyone really understands that
I have an offer from jpmc of 24LPA working for SDET role having a total experience of 6.2 years. Also I have an offer from Synechron for onsite opportunity at Dubai Emirates Bank, of 15k AED. But my husband would be coming along with dependent visa which would be sponsored @by new Dubai offer
1. How good would it be to go ahead with the onsite offer from Synechron over jpmc?
2. What are the chances and ways in which he would get jobs there in Dubai? He is working as a full stack Dotnet developer
I really want to get out of Pharma but still want to make a real difference in the work that I do. Does anyone know a good agency that focuses on behavioral change or other?
I was planning to mail each of my 20 employees a Christmas card with a $10 gift card inside. Now don’t get me wrong I desperately wish I could do more for them, but this is coming from my own bank account as my company wouldn’t allow for this type of expenditure this year. I mentioned this to a friend and they said they would be offended to receive such a small dollar value and now I am rethinking the gesture. Will my team think this was in poor taste and cringy? 😭
Can anyone please refer me at PwC for advisory Snowflake data modelling please.
I have relevant hands on experience for the same.

6. Get QuickBooks Online Accountant
I wouldn’t charge anything less than $500. I would only charge less if it helps you gain confidence or you just want to. Yes, I’m sure it’s against company policy but it’s your friends and family.

I’m interested in the history of abbreviating million as “mm.” Google says it’s Roman numeral M for thousand. MM = 1000x1000 = 1 million. Sounds to me like someone lazily got around meters by adding an extra m and then reverse engineered the abbreviation.
Does anyone know how much capital invested is required for institutional investors to get access to equity research from the big IBs? (JPK, Goldman, UBS, etc?) I had an old boss who would get them and I miss having access to them.

Anyone have a sense of why Deloitte got hit so hard by layoffs? I’ve heard four potential reasons:

Thoughts on CSP vs Mariott Bonvoy boundless? I’m a light spender (?) (~1500 per month, $400 of which is on restaurants). Would only be able to pay for hotels for work travel on this card and personal expenses as I see fit. Don’t travel much either as well (but planning on doing maybe 1-2 vacations per year, about 20 days total) Edit: also bank mostly with chase already and have chase freedom unlimited as prinary card
