Seeking to transition out of the current industry into cloud computing. Spent the last 2+ years learning and acquiring experience in AWS, CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS Pipeline, GitHub, and Terraform. Honing Bash and Shell scripting. Picked up certifications as a PMP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and AWS Solution Architect Associate along the way. Already have an MBA. What is the best way to break into the cloud and/or DevOps community? Which consulting firm is a great platform to start with?

Hey y'all, kind of a two part question: 1. I enjoy the people management more than individual contributor stuff. What career paths do you see in our industry for people who are managing support engineering teams? 2. What certifications are valued today? Seems like being a AWS Cloud Practitioner is a good general one, but are there others that stand out?

How valuable is the AWS cloud practitioner and AWS solution architect certifications if I’m coming from a consulting role where it wasn’t applied much practically, even though company is Health IT . I have a high technical aptitude but I’m wondering how much weight do they hold as far as new opportunities if I haven’t used them in work but understand them well enough to speak through the information and pass the certs. Any insight is helpful only been in a consulting 1.5 yr and want to expand
Anyone have a test bank for the Azure 900 cert or have any recommendations on how to pass it asap. Also looking into AWS cloud practitioner
Hey all, would love some advice. I’m a Business Analyst with 5 YOE and minimal technical skills. And I’m really unhappy where I’m at. Very underpaid, and feel like I’m limited in job opportunities. I want to become more technical but no idea where to even start! I was thinking about starting with a certification but most seems really tough to learn as a newbie. Any guidance/advice on which certs to look at? Was thinking AWS cloud practitioner as a starting point? Any help welcomed!!
Not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question, but engineering MS degree (e.g. applied stats, CA) vs MBA if I wanted to do product management? I am a 2nd year BA looking to go back to the States via grad school (was initially kicked out cuz of Trump) so debating which option would be better if i wanted to transition into PM. (First ever post) I originally I joined this app to learn from others in consulting on a variety of topics (gender perspectives, comp, tips/ recommendations). Ever since downloading, I see more hatred and people making judgements on others with little context. Consultants are supposed to problem solvers but instead of people sharing perspectives I feel I’m back on Twitter reading threads that only create hate. Anyone else feel that way?

Partners, What is your opinion on GARP financial Risk Manager (FRM) certificate? I am considering taking it (as I am FS Risk Consulting), but I am not sure if it really carries benefits. Apparently it is quite a tough study. Is it worth the time or should I invest my time elsewhere? Suggestions on what to focus are greatly appreciated

Hello I'm currently a Consultant in my second year at Accenture. Prior to that I had 10 years in industry. I had an initial conversation with TCS regarding an Industry Advisor position. Second interview scheduled for this week. I currently have a comp of 120, told them I'd be looking at 160 which was not an issue.. With that said can anybody shed some insight on what the move to TCS would be as Industry Advisor from the consultant with Accenture? Is that a level between M and SM at Accenture?
