6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. Been with Big Four advisory (GRC) for 10 years. Really tired of meaningless “consulting” and commoditized implementations. Recently been through a rough job search and finally landed an offer with a mid size bank in their risk practice.
