What are some strategies that can be implemented with a 4th grade student who’s on a 1.4-2.4reading level, according to the STAR test. This student just transferred in and he is very well spoken, has a large vocabulary(uses words that typical 4th grade students may not), and has a great creative imagination. His goals include reading fluency and written expression. He cannot spell nor read basic sight words without help. Sometimes, it seems as if he is waiting for me to read before he tries.

I interviewed for a job a month ago. A few weeks after the interview, I was told my feedback was good, but the company was evaluating all positions at the company at this time.
