Not sure if they’re back in person yet, but Streetwise Partners is a fantastic mentoring nonprofit for low-income DMV residents
If you are a woman, I’d recommend learning about and considering joining Junior League of Washington. We work with a ton of community partners, mostly in the literacy space for women and children. I’ve been there since 2016 as an active member and it attracts all kinds of interesting people, including women that have become close friends.
