McKinsey & Company I’m in between having accepted my offer and starting. I’ve read advice recommending getting your WFH set up ready before starting, and want to take that. I assume the answer is “no”, but could I spend my $150 one-time WFH allowance now and submit expense receipts after starting? Any chance they’d pay back spending prior to start date that was within a certain window (my last company allowed this for moving-related expenses, as an example) of the start? McKinsey & Company

As far as I know, long hours and internal growth opportunities are more limited and hard to become a PM from within but you will have a good name on your resume? How many YOE Do you have?
Smaller company in the single digit thousands headcount range. Our group is split up by subfunction (M&A, VC). Hours are ~45-60 hours. I came in with a year or so of experience from banking and make ~$100k base + negligible equity and bonus. I personally don’t think corp dev is worth it compared to other “lifestyle” exits unless you really like deal work and are passionate about what the company does.
Got it - what other "lifestyle" exits do you think would be worth it?
