If you’ve applied for an opening in a company, is it okay to apply for another opening that is a similar role or same role - different location.. This is while I’m still waiting to get a status update on the first one..

I’m a newer registered nurse (2 years) and want to get into remote work. I keep getting denied due to lack of experience but to even get the job I have now (case manager) the company knew one of my family members and they gave me a chance to interview because of that. For these remote companies where I don’t have connections how can I transition over?

I have a contact who is a hiring mgr at a company I want to work for. He told me he has an open role for me and set me up with 6 interviews over a 2 week period. They all went really well and HR said I’ll most likely be moving forward to a site visit. But now my contact has ghosted me. After I made 3 outreaches he had his aa schedule time for two weeks out. 5+ years of full-time job as developer and still waiting to reverse a LinkedList at work.

Since there is a heavy impetus on solving Tree, LinkedList, and Graph problems for tech interviews, it can naturally make freshers believe that these concepts will be used in day-to-day life at work. In reality, most of these DSA concepts are already implemented in some libraries our code uses and we rarely have to code such Algorithms by hand.
