After a year using my home office setup, especially the 27 inch monitor, how can I ever go back to the traveling life with tiny laptop screen? 😔

Are there any ea roles hiring (mainly Chi but flex to elsewhere) with chill creatively minded environments? I am great at the work but can’t deal with the typical buttoned up seniority bootlicking LOL

Does anyone ever feel like they need a hug after a long day of working?

Anyone ever have experience negotiating a new offer to include unvested 401k match and stock grants from your current employer? I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?

Did anyone have an opportunity to make a career pivot but turned down the opportunity, and regretted later? Or was an absolute right decision? I have an opportunity to switch careers. I’m already in a good role (managing an analytics team at an established pre-ipo tech firm) and started here 5 months ago. But I’m wanting to try something else (product management). I got an offer from a startup to try out the role but am scared I might fail at the role or the startup (series A) will not do well
