Currently pursuing PGP in Data Science and in verge of completion.

Alongside I have got certifications in Cloud & Visualization tools.

Now I want to move completely to the Analytics/ML side. Will the companies consider my BA experience in Data & Regulatory experiences?

Senior attorneys at v100, how common is it for attorneys who start at small firms to lateral to biglaw? Have you worked with any? I have recently received an offer from HSBC for Data Engineer profile. The designation offered is Senior Analyst- Information Management. They said that it is a techno functional role. Does anyone have an idea about what techno functional role actually is in HSBC? Is it more like a Business Analyst? My prior experience is completely in Technical side. Will this role be suitable for me?

I’m in-house at a small company (60 people), started right out of law school about 5 years ago. We had a legal team of 5 then. Everyone has left and we just hired a new GC. I went from $70k to $100k a little over a year ago. I am expecting an offer from a firm doing business law work but think this might be an opportunity to go to my current employer and ask for a significant raise, with new offer in hand. I’ve gotten an initial offer and trying to get some context on what the range is for this and whether I should push for more or accept. Agency I freelance for just gave me the ultimatum. I’d make $75K less to go full-time, and even that they weren’t sure they could get finance to sign off.
