Never too late to change. Recognizing the problem is the hardest part!

I did. I was miserable by the end of law school and my mental health was awful. I was smoking a ton of cigarettes and weed and drinking a lot. I wasn’t exercising and was becoming fat. My relationships were unsatisfying. My grades were awful. I was really unhappy with myself.
5 years later I am so much happier. My mental health is better than most people out there. I’m at a great firm with good people and doing well. I am physically healthy and active and running my first big races this year and next. I also am a dad and a husband now and it makes me want to be even better. Life is good and a ton changed from where I was before for the better.

I did and I feel much more at peace about being a good person. Go for it OP! As A1 says, it’s never too late!
I was depressed for 5 years. I spent a lot of time getting to know myself and do a lot of healing during the pandemic. It’s a long process so be kind to yourself.

Me too
I’ve been wanting to ask this exact question lately!! I want to know that’s it’s possible.
It absolutely is possible. I feel like I wasn't even a person for like five years. As long as you want to be better, you can be better.
It can be done! No shortcuts though. Gotta be willing to do the tough stuff and make the changes. How you tackle it depends on your personality. But more of the same will get you more of the same. I personally recommend the Dale Carnegie course and 75 Hard.
Yes. It's theoretically as simple as realizing there are different ways to look at the world, other people's are just as valid as yours, and yours clearly isn't working for you, so it's time to try a new approach. By presenting it this way, I've been able to help a few one-time leftists escape the cult and become much happier, healthier people.
@A2 that was unnecessary.
What are you, a prosecutor?
Kidding. Sort of.
