Apple rejected a proposal from a shareholder to end its DEI programs. As more major companies shun DEI work, it’s interesting to see one of the most important companies push back on it. It will be interesting to see how it plays out long term. Any thoughts?

“Think different.”
Happy to see Apple truly exude this old tagline.

Great response here. I’m glad to see them buck the trend as well and it will be interesting to see if the company finds a way to show some tangible benefits of implementing DEI programs in a way that causes other companies to change.
Half the fun of Costco is the random products you find while perusing the aisles. Did I know I would fall in love with Korean snacks, or Mexican candy, or Eastern European cabbage rolls? No. But without a diverse employee base to point those trends out, Costco likely wouldn’t have discovered them, either. It would be a stupid business move to cut off the influx of diverse global thinking and trends that drive sales.
What’s your favored Costco discovery recently?
