Bain & Company I’m a PhD student looking to start in consulting and am looking to connect with other PhD/ADP consultants that went into consulting to learn more about the experience and how to prep for case interviews coming from a non-business background. Especially looking for advice on McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, and Bain & Company
Has anyone interviewed with Amazon in the last 6 months. I finished my loop for a finance role. It’s been 8 business days and no update from the recruiter. I mailed the recruiter who said apologies for the delay but we will get back to you with next steps. Has anyone had this experience and what was the outcome Amazon

I have interview scheduled and completed from Commonwealth Bank Bangalore location. All technical rounds cleared.
When I called HR i got a surprise answer..
They mentioned the position which I have intervied is different than the salary rem ranges. And my current salary is higher than position what they have got and asked for approval for rem ranges changes..
Is any one faced this? Ideally HR should know expectation and allocation before scheduling intervjew..

1) I wouldn’t stress about a pass rate. Let’s just say each step gets progressively harder to pass. There’s a lot that goes into it. But you’ve gotten this far so good luck!
2) internal references help. But are not an end-all
3) current comp doesn’t really matter- there are pay bands and equity bands. Bonus is standard. Equity has the most wiggle room.
Good luck!

Hi this is OP and I got the offer. Received a few DMs on advice so here you go:
1) At the APMM level, marketing knowledge is not required at all. At the more jr level, it's about your demonstration of general cognitive ability, passion for tech marketing, professional maturity, Googleyness, etc. The team will give you plenty of time to pick up the tools of the trade when you're in!
2) I think the following would help:
> [Pre-interview] Get a referral from someone you know personally (that's what I did)
> [Pre-interview] Read up about Google's XYZ resume writing style
> [During interview] Read up about the 4 attributes that Google looks out for during interviews (GCA, RRK, Googleyness, Leadership)
> [During interview] Do plenty of research on what Google does, what product you'll be working with, the type of work you'd be doing as a PMM, etc.
> [During interview] Do plenty of self-reflection on your school+work experiences that demonstrate you have the skills & maturity for the role
Hope this helps!
To those who DMed me, I didn’t get a comp range from them yet - only after HC approval. Will update once I get a figure

Neither were negotiable unfortunately. No sign on either.
How did you get it?! Happy for you but wanting tips
Prepped my behavioural and RRK stuff really hard. Have solid stories, be structured, be passionate I think are the key points. And work with your recruiter - mine gave me very good feedback and guidance after each interview
The APMM Program doesn’t allow you to negotiate comp, even if you are making more elsewhere.
Not even within the bands? Nonetheless, I indicated my expected salary as part of the HC
pack
Are they still accepting applications for APMM? (Just saw one for APMM S&O)
What happens after you send the info to your recruiter for the HC? How long does it take to hear back, and will they ask for additional interviews or information?
HC meets usually one a week or every other week, depending on the role. Depending on that, and where you are in the queue to review, depends on when you’ll hear back
