I recently upgraded to the Pros and thought the sound quality was noticeably different. I also was surprised how much noise it actually blocked, which you can turn on/off. Overall I think the upgrade was really worth it
Pro
I have both as well - the pros are great for noise cancelling. I had Bose QC35s from the travel days and it’s nice to be able to carry around something more compact.
Anyone have a jabra 65t and suggest upgrading to AirPods Pro?
Mainly thinking about call quality.
I had the AirPods gen 2. I like them but wanted to upgrade to AirPod Pros for longer battery life, noise cancellation as well as the more snug fit. After doing some research, I realized a few things a) battery life was about the same for AirPods 2 and AirPod Pros b) AirPod Pros are deep into their life cycle, Apple is due to release an upgrade but hard to say when that will happen bc Apple doesn’t release that information. So I’ve been waiting and waiting for the AirPod Pros gen 2 but they are still yet to be released, however, Apple did just release the Beats Fit Pro. BFPs have a lot of the same guts as the AirPod Pros but also are an upgrade from the current AirPod Pros. Battery life is definitely better and it has some additional functionality. I like them so far. I’d call them a half step up from the current AirPod Pros. My suggestion is to either wait for the next generation AirPod Pros so you’re not buying date technology or get the Beats Fit Pro if you’re looking for an immediate solution. Good luck.
