I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well. 100+ and counting. Hang in tight. You’re not alone

And most likely my application will be closed by feb end cause I literally interviewed almost 6months ago
6 months in I am in HC now expecting an offer Friday if that goes well.
3 months minimum. 6 months is probably closer to average. Depends if you’re interviewing for a specific role or general approval (less of that right now)
I think my friends process was about 6 months. For me it was around 6 months too from time of application.
Wow! And here I was complaining I had HR round today and she promised to setup the next round and I never heard back for 10 hours..
Thank you G1 😊 recruiter just emailed connecting me to the scheduling team.
2-3 months from start to having negotiated a salary is fast. Six seems a smidge long...but not by much.
Thanks for all the feedback and good luck to everyone still in the process!
I also sent google my resume and haven't heard from them in over 100 days.
Is this start to finish? Like application to receiving an offer letter?
Or something else?
This is from them reaching out to me about a role and I’ve done some interviews but still ongoing
I only had one team match call so far and that didn’t work out. My recruiter is suggesting they will close my application so does that mean I can apply right away again or will have some cool down period if at all ? (My application haven’t been to the HC yet )
Stick with it & hang in there ! Good luck !
I’ve been in the process for almost 5 months. No word yet if I’m making it to HC. Good luck!

Have you heard anything?
I started the interview process in March but didn't receive my offer until October. Granted COVID played a big role in the delay, but typically it is a long process from start to finish.
My process from application submission to start date was over 5 months. Just seems like the norm around here.
Wow thank you for posting! I had this happen at FB and I think I might've pissed off the recruiter in trying to follow-up every 2 weeks. I found out that she's left FB now with absolutely no update for me!
I just started the process at G and the recruiter said 8-12 weeks for the process. It's helpful to see this thread and set expectations for me!
I had my phone screen in Jan end and still and waiting for an update on that 🙂
It took seven months from them headhunting me and asking me to apply before I heard back again for my first interview to be scheduled.
