Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?

Do your research because I was offered a position years ago at Hughes and so I went there and the lady told me that they were not hiring and it was a scam. If they provide a phone number with his name google it on the website

Are these the positions that are hired by contract? I don’t see this when it’s a legit company’s positing

That’s a good question! Actually it doesn’t make any sense but be aware of scammers out there who still your identity and personal information. I recently found out that there were 80 crooks who had my personal information.
No. I've been in stem for 25 years, its always been like this. Things are just hard. It takes 4 months to find and get work putting in 40 hours at it. And its been that way since 2001.
Companies will definitely post jobs they have no intention of filling, they're known as ghost jobs. There have been some good articles about that, you can find them by searching at Google News. Often it's a PR strategy, companies think it looks better to appear that they're always hiring, even if the opposite is true.

I believe many roles are placeholders for optics or pipeline building. Real hiring moves decisively. Long reposting without progression usually signals internal uncertainty, not candidate shortage.
