Are people still asked to withdraw their application after presentations if they won’t be accepted? How do they differentiate between someone they want to soft reject (ask to withdraw) vs hard reject with no chance of reapplying?

4YOE @Amazon & trying to lateral to a similar role @FAANG. Have my undergrad GPA (3.8/4) on resume from top 15 school but colleague says to take it off (looks silly). If it’s a good school & high GPA, why ever take it off your resume? Even if 10 YOE...can’t hurt?

I have cleared all the technical rounds in HCL and now HR mailed me that they will call for further process.

I have an offer to join a startup as an APM. The only downside is that the engineering team is located offshore in India.
