Fashion Q: what kinds of pants do you guys wear day-to-day? I know skinny jeans are considered “out,” but super baggy mom jeans are not flattering on my small frame. I wear leggings when I’m WFH, but I want to look slightly more put-together/fashionable outside my home

For those of you who have left a firm, who do you let know once your last two weeks are finalized? I would think managers and above would have been notified, but I am juggling running quite a few engagements and they all seem to be oblivious to it or just have not brought it up. Should I bring it up to some of the managers I work under so they are aware?

How do you cope when your employer rapidly descends into chaos from the top down? Today is my 2yr anniversary with this company. In the past 6mos, they have repeatedly changed directions / goals, pushing out several supportive and productive managers in favor of a single chauvinist overlord who makes HR violations daily and does no actual work. HR denies every complaint made against him and he retaliates to the point of firing people. Very hostile. How do I survive until I find my next gig?

I’ve been at a job a year and have what I would call a very toxic manager. When I first started they were very nasty to me making comments about my appearance, my character and other inappropriate and mean things. I let them know how this made me feel and they stopped however I continue to notice how manipulative and condescending they are. My mental health is at a low. We are about to be at our busy season but I want to leave so bad. Should I wait until after the busy season or leave asap?

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. And when we ask her about it, she gets mad.

It's been a challenging year for me, including a rejection from GSAP. This week, I got into my top choice MBA program - and an M7 to boot! Just goes to show that sometimes Deloitte's decisions can be misaligned to the greater world.
I hope that Deloitte gives me the chance to be a good brand ambassador - but at the point, it's up to the firm if I even consider coming back :)
