Just recently I was thinking about a job I turned down in favor of something else. At the time it was a good decision, but I am always kind of wondering what if? Really seemed like great people there, but didn’t seem as stable as it was really small. I wonder a lot because there is just no way to know.
I think everything in life happens for a reason and I tend to think if the job was for me, then I would have it. That is my attitude on lost opportunities. Do you believe in a higher power having control over your destiny and serving a purpose in every step you take? I happen to think nothing goes to waste and ultimately feel more at peace knowing I am not in control because the pressure is off of me.
I dodged a role for a company whose entire market value was based on being able to deliver goods to in-person corporate office environments. This was in December of 2019 lol. They went under in the Summer of 2020.
I can honestly say it’s been every job I really wanted and didn’t get. Each agency had some big layoff that same year. God put me where I needed to be.

Oh plenty of those. I’ve worked a lot with staffing agencies and some of the BS jobs they send over are laughable.
