Are there any careers in accounting that have a flexible schedule? I’m taking care of older parents and need a flexible schedule where I can attend to their needs throughout the day or drive them to doc appts. Switched from external audit in B4 to IA in industry (F500), both wfh… but i am still stuck in meetings all day and expected to be online when the team is. Are accountant roles or financial analyst roles in private companies any better?

Considering Leaving JP Morgan to join US bank is that a sounds move ? 9 years of software engineer experience - currently paid $135K plus bonus as Associate software engineer at JPMC- but I want a fully remote position that’s why considering making the move to US bank. Is it worth the move if they offer me the same salary? Or should I ask for more ?

My title is technically Marketing Lead but I want to put Head of Marketing on my LinkedIn etc. I think of these titles as totally interchangeable—I just like the way the second one reads better. - Finance Business Partner for a late stage (Series D/valuation 3B) startup tech company

- Corp Dev analyst role for a listed niche gambling company

The tech job pays 15k more, but from what I can see will be a cluster and super long hours (has EU stakeholders). Maybe a pipe dream, but I want to have a "somewhat" decent wlb while still growing my career toward strategy and finance.
