The weekly shift in direction feels like a deliberate attempt to keep everyone occupied. By throwing impractical AI ideas at us—like treating Cursor as a standalone solution—leadership ensures we're too busy 'adapting' to focus on the low hikes and stock cuts. It feels like a smokescreen to keep us from discussing the rebadging rumors and the reality that our compensation is being gutted.
I feel they've always been directionless. Some higher leader asks them for updates and it keeps getting delegated to the lowest level. And all of this happens in 1 day even though the meetings are pre planned. No sense of planning or direction. Everything is last minute, nobody takes ownership and everything is always urgent
