More on groceries, but way less on everything else.
Rising Star
Way less. No travel, no sporting events, fewer restaurant meals (and zero alcoholic drinks at restaurants or bars), barely any gas, no valet parking etc. Also dat sweet car insurance discount
Rising Star
Ours did multiple months and it was a pretty significant credit. Not gonna complain as we still need to drive occasionally and I wasn't going to cancel the car insurance entirely.
The first two months, was honestly about even because of what you laid out. Now I think we will probably be 25% less than normal I think.
Way more. Spouse’s Amazon habit is out of control due to boredom.
Pro
My husband was doing that. We’ve have like ten orders pending shipping at a time. I’ve had to ask him to stop ordering so much stuff, so we can try to save!

Less no eating out
Mines probably about the same overall grocery and food cost went up but entertainment, travel, and shopping went down. I miss my travel per diem though. My morning Starbucks habit had to die pretty quickly once it was coming out of my pocket.

Spent a little more at the beginning for home gym items, but saving so much on gas, travel, and not going out to eat. Groceries stayed about the same.
Pro
Way more on groceries. But I was spending about $70 a week on commuting costs so that’s been a big help. Plus I’m generally skipping lunch now so I don’t have those buying lunch at work costs.
Pro
Way less. I spent quite a bit on experiences (concerts, travel, art galleries, etc) before quarantine.
Pro
Way less. No travel, less eating out and no shopping for clothes during my lunch break.
I have learned that we apparently spend shameful amounts of money on crap and have nothing to show for it. We have saved a ton. Part of that is of course cancelled childcare and I am paying for that with my sanity. But it really is eye opening how much money we are saving. Even with ordering in we spend a lot less than going out - no alcohol, no drinks for kids. I may never go to a restaurant with my kids again.
Not taking clients out to lunch, networking events and staying in a huge savings
Pro
On par. I also do a lot of donating or trying to support local businesses.
Same
More on groceries, but nothing otherwise. So overall saving a ton...though living with my parents means I’m losing out on rent from a utilitarian view 😅

Less! Company paid for wfh setup, and I'm not eating out, just having groceries delivered. Saving up in case I get laid off.
Waaayyyy less. (NYC based). Even though spending more on on groceries, it’s no where near what I would have been spending on food and drinks before. No clothes/shoe shopping either. I’m pretty much only really buying groceries and the odd take out/delivery.
Def less. No metro card or train pass or expensive bfast and lunch. But have 2 teenage boys at home and they eat constantly!
Spent a small fortune on car parts for a restoration project but I will get double that amount in profit when the new owner picks up the car this weekend.
