If everything is “asap”, nothing is “asap”
Hello all, I have an offer from Quantiphi and another famous travel company which is building a technical arm for themselves. Both the companies are offering same compensation. HRs are calling for offer acceptance. I am leaning towards Quantiphi as the culture is well known to me.
But I have to decide soon. Should I accept both the offers and then decline one at the time of joining. I am new to this and find this a little unethical. Can someone help?

We used to have social events at work, which can be a mixed bag, but I actually really like them! Free food helped. I am a huge fan of learning about what other people do in the company! Tell me about your day to day in the HR department! Even if cross collaboration isn’t the focus, just being aware goes a long way into not having a siloed company.
That's a great idea, especially when food is involved! I do think I'll start making an effort to take interest in other departments first to see where we could potentially collaborate or have a reason to talk!
I think you just need to make sure you listen to everyone and see what they need and like and try your best to then talk about it, or even suggest doing it together. Also doing something outside of work really bonds people!
Yes, I'd love to do that. Sometimes I don't know where others boundaries with hanging out outside of work are.
Part of my team is remote, so circumstances are different. Twice a week, we all go online and play a game. If you are not in the office, you log on together in a conference room. Cameras on, You don’t talk about the work. We play the game and focus on other things. It doesn’t feel forced. You don’t feel guilty because the bosses are playing too.
