At PwC SDC, has anyone felt that the old employees of PwC SDC who has worked for 8-10 years with this organisation, got there promotion after more than usual time period?

And if they are your boss and when you ask them for promotion as per general industry norms they will simply dismiss it as they got there promotion to manager in let say 8 years and you want promotion in 5 years. Further organization is hiring people as manager with 4 years of experience

Accepting an offer in IBD, lateraling over from consulting. Opportunity of a lifetime for me so don’t want to lose it.
But timing is horrible. I joined the Army Reserves before this opportunity was on my radar. Interviewed over several months, got the offer, but shipping out in 1 month for training for 6 months.

Hey everyone. I found out we are expecting our first child and I’m really nervous. I got into consulting one year ago and I’m up for promotion this year. With timing of our performance conversations I would have to inform I’m pregnant before outcomes - then shortly after the promotion effective date I would go on a leave for due date.
