I’m a SPED teacher, & my principals ALWAYS seem to visit my room as soon as I give my student(s) a break from their work or when they’ve finished early everything I had planned. They RARELY come in when I’m actually in the middle of making progress on a lesson. It makes me feel like I have to be defensive & justify why the students aren’t working. Does this happen to anyone else?

🐠, I was laid off from industry during covid and started consulting this year, which was a step back in terms of level and salary. I have received an offer that would allow me to course-correct and advance past where I was before. I like my current firm and have put a lot of effort into making it my new home; however I don’t like my project and am stuck on it. I am terrified of making a move so soon into a role that isn’t a fit or worse, results in another layoff. Appreciate all perspective!
