At what level in account management do you start getting bonuses or commission on how much your book of business grows? Is this something I should be negotiating in offer letters?

You should be getting this at the Director level. If you’re not, start putting results in your account planning decks, your annual reviews/1:1s, and your resume. Agencies only care about the bottom line, and that includes not paying you a bonus.

Never heard of anyone getting “commission” on their accounts at any of the major agencies. That would just further eat into the already tiny profit margins. You should try push for a bonus every year, but unless you’re senior it’s not likely to be guaranteed.

Then when I reached hiring manager through LinkedIn I got to know I cleared all the rounds but my expected cts is high so they might have rejected. First thing is I never said what I am expecting . And I clearly told In managerial round that I am open for salary discussion. But no one responded. Will I get the call back in time? Or I just leave it and go ahead with other companies?
