Hi everyone!
Debating between an offer from 200 employee company vs Zoom (the company).
The smaller company has good benefits, great wlb and a great culture per Glassdoor reviews. But its an HR software and not easy to sell.
Compensation is similar.
Never worked in a big company like zoom before, what are the pros, and the drawbacks?

Additional Posts in Consulting
Slalom Consulting this might be a total long shot, but I recently finished the interview process with slalom and they gave me a *verbal* contingent offer for an incoming contract. However, I just found out I might have to relocate to Boston soon. I would love to stick with slalom as the goal company, but wondering if I could talk to the recruiter about transferring my application to the Boston office? Any advice? TY!

Investment banking by a mile
If you want to maximize your odds of a PE offer, IB at any reputable bank is a better bet than consulting. You just need to look at most PE funds team pages and see where everyone came from to see IB is the highest percentage play here.
Only caveat is that if “IB” really means financial advisory at a smaller firm without name recognition, maybe Bain PEG could do more for you. But if it’s traditional IB, no question.
IB. You can certainly do PEG -> PE (I did it from McKinsey) but if you’re a finance hardo, do the traditional route.
Google
Nobody asks this who has the option of IB
IB if it’s M&A and not DCM, ECM, etc.
Rising Star
Depends what bank. Bulge bracket and elite boutique is the best for PE, but Bain wins out over middle market in many cases
