Banks have paid fairly well historically… I’ve worked in the banking arm of FIs for 10 years… I’ve always felt well compensated for my role and responsibilities… granted it’s always been for the Big 4 banks…

In tight job markets, I try to focus on networking as much as possible. At the end of the day, friends like to help friends into new roles.
I've been thinking a lot about this and decided I am terrible at networking. What are some things I can do to get my foot in the door?
Banks are all cutting headcount.
Jpm cutting by at minimum 10% but say that conservative. Truist has cut 25% of the company I'm the last 2 years.
Serious level of automation coming for banks
Definitely can see that writing on the wall. Hoping I have a job for at least another year
