I got an offer from UST Global and its WFO. Just wanted to know whether everyone else ,who joined recently, is also getting WFO only ? What about other employees- is it wfo for all now ? My DC is in Trivandrum.

I’ve 8+ yrs of experience. 6 in IM & 2 in SOC. I’m planning to do Data scientist course from SCALAR. It’s online platform n fee is on higher side. They claim they have 93% placements rate. Does anyone in this platform have idea about SCALAR or done the course with them.
Just wish to know if they really have good teaching skill along with placements

I have an H1b which I received in 2019 and was valid till august2021, due to covid I wasn't able to travel and then I switched to another firm last year in November. If I get visa transfer, will it provide me a validity back as I haven't used any on site time on that visa.

I have two questions. I have 10 years of experience in multiple sectors and I have been trying to gain a leadership position. I am attempting my PHR this summer but what are some tips in order for me to obtain a leadership position? Also, how long does it take to obtain another position out of state? The first rule of overemployment is dont talk about overemployment to anyone outside your house. :). Second: always protect the main job. Third: As the main job always has the priority, the Second and third jobs must preferably be contract gigs with not too many meetings everyday. Remember: another day, another dollar.

Anyone have multiple FT jobs? I'm looking about to land a new primary FT job, as my current job is very very slow, doesn't really have any projects for me, and could end at any time (with a 30 day notice).

Could I pull off asking my manager from J1 for approval of freelancing on the side? It’s quite common anyway for designers I think. And then my j2 can be “freelance” even though it’s full time?

I really want to get a second job but I am scared of losing my current one. Both companies are in same field, although not direct competitors so I know it’s technically “not allowed” however, this is the only way for me to get that $$ since I am not paid all that well.

I’ve been on the bench with J1 for about 3 months. I was worried that because I couldn’t find another project, I would get laid off so I found J2, which pays more, is very meeting heavy, but I really like. I’ve kept J1 because I’m still on the bench doing absolutely nothing and getting paid. Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs. Does anyone have experience or advice?
